5 Things You Should Know About Animal Chiropractic Care

5 Things You Should Know About Animal Chiropractic CareIs your animal getting great results with chiropractic care?

Excellent! You join the many other clients who have also witnessed the benefit of an all-natural approach to better health, for their pet. But there’s a lot more that’s possible. Here are a few things you might not know about veterinary chiropractic care.

1. There are no age limits.

From infancy to seniors and everyone in between. Animal chiropractic is to help our pets live and feel better. Adjusting techniques are individually tailored to age, size, weight and each animal’s specific spinal issue.

2. The first sign of a problem isn’t always pain.

A lot of patients are brought in because they are in pain; but even if the pain is relatively new, the cause of it could be weeks, months or even years old. Why? Like a human’s body, an animal’s body is adaptive. It can take a long time before it runs out of adaptive capacity and symptoms appear.

3. We’re not “magic”- the body is.

Our methods may appear “magic,” but instead are simply tools to help their bodies express true health and wellness. Our job is to get their nervous system functioning optimally, so that it can heal and self-regulate without the need for drugs or surgery.

4. Adjustments are unique, just like them.

The beauty of chiropractic care is that we’re able to tailor and create an individual care plan just for their specific needs. This helps us target the problem areas and work on uncovering the root cause of the issue.

5. Optimal results are a team effort.

If they feel great after being adjusted, that’s wonderful; but our hope is to educate owners that their quest for health might not stop there. The best results seem to occur when we do our job (locate and reduce nervous system interference) and you support them through proper rest and exercise, reducing stress, keeping appointments and following their veterinarians advice- ensuring proper nutrition.
